Sava

Sava is a London medical device company developing a skin-mounted microsensor that continuously measures glucose and other molecules in interstitial fluid. Its sensing filaments are around ten times shorter than those in a conventional continuous glucose monitor, and a 46-participant independent study in Oxford and Cambridge reported accurate readings for up to ten days. The company was incorporated in 2016 as Corticare Limited and traded as Caura.me and Hone Health before taking the Sava name. It has raised $63M across three rounds, most recently a $36M Series B in October 2026 led by Ascensia Diabetes Care, which also became its exclusive commercialisation and distribution partner in Europe; Balderton Capital led the $8M seed and co-led the $19M Series A, and earlier backers include SOSV and MassChallenge.
